Established in 2003, we didn’t just open a store; we built a legacy of trust that has served lakhs of homeowners and supplied materials to the city’s most iconic building projects.
Today, our showroom stands as one of Chennai’s largest premium displays—a destination where architects and homeowners find the intersection of global quality and local expertise.

Our Journey begins
THE ABM STORY
Founded in 2003, Arihant Build Mart began as a modest venture catering to Chennai’s growing demand for high-quality building materials. Initially operating as Arihant Ceramics, the company specialized in wholesale distribution and C&F services for leading brands from Gujarat.
With a strong family legacy and growing project volumes, the business evolved into Arihant Build Mart Pvt. Ltd. in 2007—marking a new phase of expansion and ambition.
By 2012, we strengthened our capabilities with a manufacturing subsidiary and two large warehouses, preparing to meet the city’s future needs at scale.
Built on the expertise of our MD, Ranjith Rathod, ABM today is driven by the dynamic leadership of Rathod Brothers – Pranay and Manav Rathod. With a refreshed, modern identity, we continue our commitment to helping Chennai build with the finest interior materials.
Two Decades of Disruption
THE PIONEER OF CHENNAI
Our story began with ceramic tiles, but our vision was always global. In the early 2010s, ABM fundamentally shifted the local market by importing high-caliber porcelain and double-charged tiles from China, Vietnam, and Spain—introducing Chennai to finishes and durability levels never seen before.
We didn’t stop at quality; we moved into scale. ABM was the first to display massive 4×2 feet and further 8×4 feet slabs in Chennai, challenging the industry to think bigger. We continued this disruption by revolutionizing the kitchen market, replacing centuries of basic granite with modern Quartz, Engineered Marble, and 10ft Sintered Stone countertops.
In 2020, ABM Plylam was set up to cater the after tile stage requirements of customers.
And shortly, ABM Madhavaram was built to re-invent our prestige of building Chennai’s largest showroom display with premium dedicated displays for Sintered Stone, Aquant Bath Fittings and GM Switches.
